Jen Baumann is Senior Counsel at Kucala Burgett Law. Jen has practiced law for over 20 years as both outside counsel and in-house general counsel beginning her career as an intellectual property attorney. Jen graduated from the University of Michigan for both undergrad and law school, from the Chicago Booth School of Business with her MBA, and from Loyola University Chicago with her MS in Environmental Science & Sustainability.

Jen’s addition to the firm allows us to broaden our offering to allow for commercial contracting, licensing transactions, software and technology transactions, marketing review, data privacy, environmental/ESG, and fractional general counsel, secondment or leave services, all while assisting with our core trademark work. Jen shares our passion for assisting companies in protecting their intangible assets and supporting enforcement, growth, and innovation projects. She lives in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago with her husband, two daughters and their dog - and she still loves golf after acting as team captain at the University of Michigan, as well as travel and theater.
