Sharon Sorkin is Of Counsel at Kucala Burgett Law. Sharon has been a brand, trademark and advertising attorney for over two decades with 15 years of experience as in-house trademark counsel at large multi-national companies, most recently serving as Chief Trademark Counsel for Ford Motor Company. Sharon is a graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington and the University of Michigan Law School – Go Blue!

Sharon is passionate about the way that trademarks support distinctive brand-building. She excels at helping trademark teams develop clearance, prosecution, and enforcement strategies, streamline processes, navigate complex clearance and enforcement issues, and grow their brands through strategic partnerships and licensing. She takes a “get to yes” approach and always aims to bring value to the clients she serves.

Sharon is an active member of the International Trademark Association having served as Chair of the In-House Practitioner’s Committee and participated in numerous other committees over the years.
